Dog Infringements

Infringement Notices must be paid within 28 days.

After this time, a reminder notice will be sent. If the reminder notice remains unpaid after a further 28 days, it will be passed to the Court for collection.

An additional fee of $55 is added to the original Infringement Notice for Court costs.

Waiver Request

If you wish to dispute an infringement please read your Summary of Rights on the back of the infringement notice.

Or if you have exceptional circumstances you would like us to consider please complete a dog infringement waiver request.

Extended payment options

Payment of the Infringement Notice is required by the due date to avoid Court action.

In cases of financial hardship, where the infringement amount is $150.00 or more, you may apply in writing to request an agreed payment arrangement.

Where no written request is made for such option, within two months from the date of issue of the Infringement Notice, the matter will proceed to Court.

Where a request is received within the prescribed two months, an extension of time may be given for payment, but this will not exceed a total of six months from the date of issue of Infringement Notice.
