Proposed rates for 2024/25
The table below sets out your proposed rates for the 2024/25 rating year, based on preferred options only in the Long Term Plan 2024-34 Consultation Document. The proposed rates are subject to change following consultation with the community and Council deliberations. The final Long Term Plan is scheduled to be adopted in September 2024. Please note the four rates with no values have been rolled into the Uniform Annual General Rate Charge as these are District-wide charges. These include:
- District-wide roading rate
- Heritage museum rate
- District library rate
- Environment protection rate
NB: Changes to properties prior to 30 June 2024 that effect the value of the property will have an impact on rates for the 2024/25 rating year. For example, new buildings.
