Notified Resource Consents

When we receive a resource consent application, we do an assessment of its environmental effects.

There are different ways to notify the public, depending on the effects of the proposal. If the environmental effects are more than minor, the resource consent will require public notification under Section 95A of the Resource Management Act. This means anyone in the community can make a submission on the application.
