Road Closure - Waihī Beach Christmas in the Village

Pursuant to Section 342, Schedule Ten, 11(e) of the Local Government Act 1974 and the Transport (Vehicular Traffic Road Closure) Regulations 1965, notice is hereby given that the Western Bay of Plenty District Council, for the purpose of Christmas in the Village proposes to close the following road(s) to ordinary vehicular traffic for the period indicated hereunder.

Road proposed to be closed to ordinary vehicular traffic:
Wilson Road – from number 31 to the intersection with Snell Crescent & Dillon Street

Period of proposed closure: Saturday 19th December 2026; 4pm to 9pm

Any person wishing to submit to the proposal is required to provide their submission in writing, before 21st November 2026 to the email address: transport@westernbay.govt.nz or at offices of Western Bay of Plenty District Council, 1484 Cameron Road, Barkes Corner, Tauranga
