Proposal To Close Beach Road, Carisbrooke St & Middlebrook Dr, Katikati To Vehicular Traffic

Pursuant to Section 342, Schedule Ten, 11(e) of the Local Government Act 1974 and the

Transport (Vehicular Traffic Road Closure) Regulations 1965, notice is hereby given that the Western Bay of Plenty District Council, for the purpose of Katikati Santa Parade proposes to close the following road(s) to ordinary vehicular traffic for the period indicated hereunder.

Road proposed to be closed to ordinary vehicular traffic:

• Beach Road – From Katikati Primary School Car Park to the intersection with Carisbrooke St.
• Carisbrooke St – Entire Street including the intersection with Fairview Rd.
• Middlebrooke Dr – From the intersection of Fairview Rd to Moore Park Car Park.

Period of proposed closure: 5th December 2026 3pm to 4pm
