Public Places Bylaw - Consultation
Western Bay of Plenty District Council is reviewing its Public Places Bylaw and wants to hear from the community.
The bylaw helps keep our public spaces safe, welcoming and enjoyable by setting rules around things like public facilities, obstructions, waste, advertising and vehicle crossings. Council is proposing to continue the bylaw as it is, including minor updates made in 2025.
Residents are invited to provide feedback on whether the bylaw should remain unchanged, be amended, or be removed.
