Attention residents: Roadside weed control will be conducted in the Western Bay of Plenty, including all WBOPDC local roads if necessary, from February 2026 to January 2027. The focus will be on managing plant pests, kerbs and channels, roadside garden weeds, and drains.
The chemicals used may include:
- Glyphosate
- Metsulfuron methylester
- Triclopyr
- Clopyralid
- Haloxyfop
- Picloram
- 2,4-D
- Dicamba
- Activated Amitrole
- Terbuthylazine
