Water Mains Flushing - from 13 October

Over the next few weeks we will be carrying out our Annual Water Mains Scouring (flushing) Programme across the District.
Our contractor, Downer, will be flushing out the water pipes to ensure we can continue to provide you with a clean, reliable water supply.
During this time, your water may be temporarily discoloured. If you find any water discolouration at your home or business, please run an outside tap for 5-10 minutes until the water clears.
This will be happening over two-week periods, as follows:
From Monday 13 October
Te Puke, Paengaroa, Maketu and Pukehina Beach.
From Tuesday, 28th October 2025
Wairoa, Te Puna, Minden, Whakamarama, Ōmokoroa as far as Morton Road.
From 10 November
Aongatete (from Morton Road), Katikati, Tahawai, Tanners Point, Athenree, Bowentown, Waihī Beach.
