Temporary Road Closure – Oropi Drainage Works

Scheduled works are planned on Oropi Gorge Road between Glue Pot Road and Oropi Road during the September school holidays. The project will improve stormwater management, stabilise slopes, and enhance road safety.

Road Closure: 20 September – 4 October 2025 (weather dependent)
A full road closure will be in place to allow safe operation of heavy machinery.

Detour: Traffic will be redirected via Oropi Road (southern approach), adding approximately 6.8 km / 8 minutes to travel time.
