Uretara Stream Jetty Replacement Project Update

The Western Bay of Plenty District Council advises that physical work on the Uretara Stream Jetty Replacement project (at ‘The Landing’, Beach Road, Kaitkati) is now programmed to occur on Saturdays, in addition to weekdays, until the completion of the project, expected around mid-June 2025. These times differ from signage on site which states work shall be restricted to weekdays, excluding Public Holidays. Higher level noise, as a result of activities such as pile driving, will not occur on Saturday’s outside the hours of 9.30am – 5.00pm, although lower level noise (as a result of other work such as arrival, setting up, closing down) may occur between the hours of 7.30am – 6.00pm. Council apologises for any inconvenience or disturbance these activities may cause to residents and park users.
