Give your old stationery a second life
We’re on a mission to reduce waste by transforming excess or unwanted stationery into “good as new” resources for schools and tamariki through the Stationery Revive project.
By donating, you’re helping cut down the need for new resources and making sure perfectly good stationery finds its way back into the hands of eager students. We’ll refurbish and redistribute these items completely free, ready for the upcoming school year.
What can be donated?
Used or excess items in usable condition, including:
- Pens, pencils, highlighters, markers, crayons
- Exercise books, notebooks, art books, refill paper
- Erasers, rulers, sharpeners, glue sticks, protractors, scissors
- Calculators
- Book bags and pencil cases
- Half-used pencils and named exercise books with some pages written on are totally fine, we’ll give them a makeover before sending them back out!
Please don’t donate:
- Broken items or supplies in very poor condition
- Ring binders, oil pastels, file folders or sleeves
Where to donate:
Collection boxes are available at all our libraries and services centres in Te Puke, Ōmokoroa, Katikati, Waihī Beach and Barkes Corner during business hours.
When:
You can drop off your stationery until Saturday 17 January 2026.
After that, we’ll collect the boxes, revive the stationery, and distribute it to schools across the District, giving these items a second chance.
