Come along to our Local History Day to celebrate our story. Hosted by the Western Bay Community Archives. Doors open at 9am in the Settlers Room at the Te Puke War Memorial Hall, 130 Jellicoe Street, Te Puke. Light refreshments will be provided.
Our guest speakers for the day are;
- Kelsi Lawrence and Chrissie Keepa: Seeing our history through the eyes of our tamariki
- Richard Hart: Compiler of the the book "Te Puke Flaxmills".
Also join local historian Christine Clement for a guided bus tour through the District. Cost is $10 per person. Cash payments only.
