Waste Collectors
Please refer to www.kerbsidecollective.co.nz for more information on the new kerbside service.
Please note: It is illegal to leave any rubbish at lay-by areas, intersections or at the end of rural roads. If you do so you are in breach of Council's Waste Bylaw that prohibits waste from being placed anywhere but in an approved place on the day of collection. Usually this is outside the property from which the rubbish originates.
The Bay of Plenty Regional Council supports sustainability in a number of ways, including through supporting the Sustainable Business Network. We also provide hands on help with district and city councils to provide resources, tools and advice. Further information can be found on Bay of Plenty Regional Council's Get Sustainable website.
