You have 28 days to pay your fine. After this time, a reminder letter will be set to the vehicle's owner and if the fine remains unpaid after a further 28 days, it will be passed for the Court for collection. At this stage an additional cost of $30 is added to the original fine and this can increase to $100 if the fine remains unpaid 28 days after you are requested to pay by the Court.
It's important to note that our bank charges a convenience fee of 1.22% per transaction for the service.
To make things easy please have your infringement notice handy. You will need your infringement notice number and the registration number of the infringing vehicle that is shown on the notice. Be certain to enter your email address correctly.
Payments made after 10.30pm New Zealand time will be processed the following business day, so please allow plenty of time for processing your payment. If you leave things too late then your payment could be processed after the due date which may result in a late payment penalty.
Once the transaction is completed you will be given a reference number and a confirmation notification will be sent to your email for your records. Please note that a receipt will not be provided.
