Kaiate Falls track is closed for your safety

The Kaiate Falls walking track near Waitao is closed until further notice.

The track was significantly damaged by recent weather events and it'll be closed for your safety until we can assess and repair the significant damage.

Damage includes a land slip, erosion of the track from the river, bridges washed away and a broken staircase to the waterfall.

In the meantime, why not try out one of our other walking tracks?
