New toilet coming for the Kaituna Mole - delayed

The toilet upgrade at the Kaituna Mole has been delayed while our Gisborne Tairāwhiti-based toilet suppliers deal with the fallout from weather events. We expect the new toilet to be completed mid-March. Additional portaloos will be on site until the new toilet is operational.

A new toilet is coming for the Mole at the Kaituna River mouth on Ford Road. But you won’t be left in a lurch, a temporary toilet will be on site while the new toilet is being installed.
The new toilet will be upgraded to two cubicles, including one include one accessible cubicle.
Work starts from Wednesday 15 February and all going to plan, will be finished by Friday 3 March.
Once the new toilet is installed, we will be finishing the area with some planting in winter.
