Annual Water Mains Scouring

Downer is the contractor to the Western Bay of Plenty Council for maintenance of the Water, Stormwater and Wastewater systems.

From Tuesday 27 September, for a period of 2 weeks, Downer will be undertaking the Annual Water Mains Scouring Program (flushing) in the following areas:

• Te Puke
• Paengaroa
• Maketu
• Pukehina Beach.

This scouring/flushing may cause a temporary discoloration of your water. If you find any discolouration at your home/business, please run an outside tap for 5-10 minutes until the water clears.
