Recent weather related incidents along our local roads and highways

Local Roads:

• Te Puna Station Rd – several slips and a very large tree that is blocking parts of lanes of road. Road is open but slip clean up will be one lane when we get there today. This is between Teihana Rd and SH2.
• Whakamarama Rd – Several slips blocking part lanes of traffic. Road still open. Planned cleaned up today.
• Stockton Rd – Tree down – yet to be cleared.
• Otamarakau Valley Rd – trees down, road open, further clean up planned.
• Boucher Ave – Streetlight shooting sparks.

State Highway:

• SH29 – Kaimai – Large slip near Hanga Rd, traffic under contraflow.
• Sh2 near Clarke Rd Te Puna, tree down – further clean up planned.
• SH29a Maungatapu – Tree in shoulder - further clean up planned.
• SH29A Oropi Roundabout – tree in shoulder – further clean up planned.
