Temporary removal of Jubilee Park Eagles Nest climbing structure

The Eagles Nest climbing structure at Jubilee Park will be temporarily removed as parts of the net are wearing out and could be a safety risk to users.

The existing net will be removed and structure closed until a new net arrives. Unfortunately, global supply chain delays will mean that the replacement net may not be installed for several months.

Council apologises for any inconvenience, but the safety of our rangatahi and tamariki is our priority.

Removal will begin early next week (from 20 June) weather permitting.
