Books of condolence have been made available at Council offices and libraries in Katikati, Tauranga and Te Puke following the Christchurch terror attacks last Friday.
The Local Government Commission is calling for alternative applications to that received from Western Bay of Plenty District Council in November last year seeking to alter the boundary between Tauranga City and Western Bay at Tauriko West.
Council has adopted its draft 2019/2020 (1 July 2019 – 30 June 2020) Annual Plan and will be holding events district-wide from 23 March to 13 April to gain people’s views on the main issues.
Te Puna’s pest-free programme got off to a flying start on Saturday, 2 March, with more than 100 people attending and all 78 traps given out – with a wait list for more.
