Alex Finn - Transportation Manager, Western Bay of Plenty District Council
Alex has been roading manager for the Western Bay of Plenty District Council since May 2006.

Prior to joining Council, Alex held the position of Roading Manager with Thames Coromandel District Council for 12 years. Alex has also held similar roles in local government and consultancy services in South Africa.

Alex is a Chartered Engineer and belongs to the Institute of Professional Engineers.

Jim Paterson - Transportation Network Manager
Jim has held this position since May 2002.

In this role he is responsible for managing the implementation of roading programmes, which includes the performance based maintenance contract and capital construction projects via external service providers.

Prior to joining Council, Jim held engineering positions with Opus International Consultants and a number of other engineering firms.

Jim holds a NZCE (Civil).

Inroads is responsible for the management and maintenance of the local roads and state highways within the Western Bay of Plenty district under a combined Western Bay of Plenty District Council and the NZ Transport Agency 10 year performance based contract.
