Council has notified its PROPOSED Plan (Decisions version) on 30 January 2010 and there may be more restrictive rules under the Proposed Plan (Decisions version) that will affect your proposal.  However, due to the ongoing plan review process, a number of rules may be subject to further changes.

Zoning is about the types of activities that you can carry out in a particular area.  Each zone has a detailed list of activities allowed within that zone.

It also identifies the standards those uses must meet to ensure that the environmental and amenity standards (eg noise levels) of the area are protected.
