Nominations for Western BOP District Council Mayoral and Omokoroa Community Board By-Elections have closed
A timetable for a Mayoral by-election has been confirmed following the death of Mayor Graeme Weld on 15 November 2008.
Eligible voters in the Western Bay of Plenty District will be sent voting papers from Friday, 13 February 2009 as part of a postal vote for the Mayoralty that will close on Saturday, 7 March 2009.
Nominations for the Mayoralty closed at 12 noon on Friday, 16 January.
