Plan Change 69 is the most complex plan change produced by Council and as such has created its own set of challenges. The Plan Change is regarded as important for both the community and Council as it will set the future development pattern for Omokoroa.
Council has undertaken substantial consultation over the past eight years regarding development at Omokoroa. This has involved two previous Plan Changes. The community has had significant input including considerable time and effort put into submissions on the current Plan Change 69.
