Council has working with urban communities in the Dsitrict to develop long term plans that detail a 20 year vision for each community and what needs to be done to achieve it.
Katikati
'The New Picture'. The Plan is about the people of Katikati and recognises the connections between all parts of the community, and the wider District and region. It acknowledges that whatever is done in the community has an effect on a lot of other things as well. In this context the Plan links the economy, the environment and the community.

Te Puke
'The way forward'. This 20 year plan has been developed by the people of Te Puke and will be used as a blueprint for the community to use; showing the direction the community wants to go and how it plans to get there.
Te Puke Town Centre Plan
The Te Puke Town Centre Plan has been developed in response to Te Puke's Comprehensive Development Plan - 'The way forward'. The concepts, principles and design elements outlined in the Plan are the culmination of significant effort by the Te Puke community, together with the Council, Council's consultants and other key agencies.
