Western Bay of Plenty District Council were approached by two community groups and asked to provide technical guidance with the Operative Onsite Effluent Treatment Regional Plan 2006.
Seven communities were investigated including:
1. Tanners Point
2. Tuapiro Point
3. Ongare Point
4. Te Kauri Village
5. Plummers Point
6. Te Puna West
7. Maketu, Little Waihi and Pukehina
