With the Town Centre Plan, Council would like to guide future development in the town centre. The Plan focuses on both private and public development, including Council’s contribution towards the development of the town centre.

Draft Katikati Built Environment Strategy
Katikati is a fast growing town and it is important that future development support and strengthen the look and feel of Katikati. Development should also support the community’s vision for the town.
With the Katikati Built Environment Strategy, Council would like to encourage developers to follow best practices to ensure that development in Katikati is sustainable, of a high quality, vibrant, attractive and inclusive (takes the surrounding environment and community into consideration).
