Helping build a District for the future
There's much more to Council than meets the eye.
As well as providing a myriad of services and facilities for our ratepayers, Council plays a big part in infrastructural and development initiatives throughout the District to meet the needs of a growing population.
The projects contained in this section highlight some of the work Council is doing on its own and in association with other local authorities to ensure the District and the sub-region (the Western Bay of Plenty District and Tauranga City) continues to be one of the best places in New Zealand to live, work and play.
