The library service's main role is to provide books and other material to read for pleasure and for information, about hobbies, sports, career and personal interests and to promote lifelong learning.
As well as providing books and other materials to suit all ages, the libraries provide a request service, services for people who are housebound and children’s pre-school story times.
The team can also borrow material on your behalf from other libraries through the interloan system, and also offer access to a DVD, Video, and Music CD collection. All libraries hold audio books which are available for rental.
