Collection of Household Rubbish (Bylaw Enforcement)

Please note that from 1 November 2009, the Western Bay of Plenty District Council will take prosecution action against any individual caught leaving pre-paid rubbish bags or rubbish at any road intersection across the District.

Under the General Bylaw (Chapter 6 – Waste) pre-paid rubbish bags can only be left immediately outside your own property on the allocated day of collection.  If a kerbside collector does not cover your rural road you must make other rubbish collection arrangements.

Please do your part to the keep the Western Bay of Plenty District Council clean – THANKS!!

Allocated collection days are:

Monday              Waihi Beach, Tahawai 
Tuesday              Upper Papamoa, Maketu, Paengaroa, 
                           Pongakawa
Wednesday         Te Puna, Minden, Omokoroa, Kaimai 
Thursday            Te Puke, Rangiuru, Pyes Pa, Oropi
Friday                 Katikati, Aongatete
