Acorn Foundation

The Acorn Foundation (established 2003) is a Community Foundation whose underlying principle of a community foundation is that “Generosity begins on Main Street”. In other words, we believe that people want to support causes close to home, and often close to the heart.

The Foundation provides a vehicle through which people can make a contribution to the Tauranga and Western Bay of Plenty communities every year, forever.


OEMI
Omokoroa Environmental Manager's Inc (OEMI) is an incorporated Care Group which supports and co-ordinates the activities of environmental groups operating on the Omokoroa peninsula.

BOPLASS

BOPLASS Ltd is a company owned by the Bay of Plenty Regional Council, Rotorua District Council, Western Bay of Plenty District Council, Kawerau District Council, Tauranga City Council, Opotiki District Council, Whakatane District Council, Taupo District Council and Gisborne District Council and has been established to promote shared services between local authorities in the Bay of Plenty/Gisborne Regions and elsewhere.

The Directory has been developed by Family and Community Services, which is part of the Ministry of Social Development.  It uses a sophisticated search tool that allows users to search for services by name, region, subject or key word.  Each organisation listed provides a service description and contact details.  The Directory is well maintained and accurate, with providers able to apply to be listed online and update their own details.
