Council oversees the whole of the functions and activities of administering the district. Council's Local Governance Statement details more information regarding Council's powers and responsibilities.
Public notices relating to scheduled meetings typically appear up to ten days prior to the end of the month of a meeting scheduled the following month, for example a meeting in March will be publicly notified the preceding February.
Please note:
On occasion dates of scheduled meetings are subject to change. Changes will be notified in the public notices section of the Bay of Plenty Times.
Other (non-scheduled) meetings of Council committees, Council and Community Boards that may be required to address issues at time to time during the year will be publicly notified in the Bay of Plenty Times.
