Welcome to Council's 2006-2016 Long Term Council Community Plan, otherwise referred to as the Long Term Plan.
In a nutshell the Long Term Plan, which we are required to review every three years, outlines the finer points of why Council is doing things, what work will be completed over the next 10 years and what it will cost.This plan builds on the first Long Term Plan produced by Council in 2003, which covered the period 2003-2013.We encourage you to use this document to discover how we plan to make the Western Bay of Plenty District one of the best places in New Zealand to live, work and play.
